Should I make a reservation?

Availability changes on a daily basis. In order to make sure that the storage space that you want is available when you need it, please call us to discuss your requirements.

Do you offer long-term storage discounts?

Yes. Please contact a member of the Need More Space team and we would be happy to discuss your long-term storage requirements with you.

Do I need insurance?

Need More Space can provide you with insurance for your goods. Alternatively most household insurance policies can be extended to cover goods stored with Need More Space.

How can I pay?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Laser or Direct Debit. Minimum Self Storage rental is for one week.

How simple is it for me to end our agreement?

It’s very simple. All we require is 1 week notice from you of your intention to remove your goods from storage.

Can I change my unit size later on?

You may increase or decrease your unit size at any time, in accordance with your personal requirements.

How long will it take to move in?

The time it takes to move in will vary depending on the quantity of material for storage. Equipment such as moving carts, trolleys and fork lifts are available in our loading bay to help the move-in process.

Is there a minimum or maximum stay?

There is a minimum stay of one week. There is no maximum stay.

What do I need to do to rent a storage unit?

In order to begin renting a storage unit you must first provide us with either a passport or drivers licence and a recent utility bill for proof of your identity and address. We will also need details of your payment method e.g. direct debit or credit card. Once we receive these documents your account will be open and you can begin renting as soon as you like.

Can I authorise other people to access my storage unit?

Yes, you can authorise other people to access your storage unit. When you begin renting with us, each customer is given a unique PIN code to gain access to our building. It is up to you who you give your PIN code to. But when you do, in order for that person to be granted access to your storage unit we must be provided with your authorisation.

How much space will I need?

We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 5x5, or 25 square feet, to 10x30, or 300 square feet. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our size estimator and the help of our Centre Managers who are trained to assist you in this process. To determine the sizes available at a location near you contact the Centre Manager.

What can be stored in my storage unit?

You can store anything from surplus office stock to household goods such as furniture, clothes etc. Items that are illegal, hazardous or toxic are not permitted. Petrol, cans of paint, explosives, etc. are not permitted due to their combustible nature.
